Join us for HART's Huge Annual Fundraising Yard Sale from August 7-10, 2025, at the Cumberland Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall in Cumberland, Maine. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, this event fills the entire 10,000 sq. ft. Exhibition Hall. Discover thousands of treasures, score fantastic deals, and enjoy delectable treats from our Bake Sale table. Every dollar raised directly supports the essential care of the hundreds of cats we rescue each year.

DONATE ITEMS
→ AT THE SHELTER - Saturday, July 12 - Saturday, July 26
We will begin accepting donations Saturday, July 12 at temporary pods in front of the HART shelter at 302 Range Road in Cumberland. Pods will be open between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We will continue to accept donations at the shelter through 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 26. Please hold off on donating furniture or any other large/bulky items until Monday July 28th, when you can bring those items to the Cumberland Fairgrounds Exposition Hall.
→ AT THE FAIRGROUNDS - Monday, July 28 through Monday, August 4
NEW THIS YEAR - we will be accepting donations a full week earlier at the Cumberland Fairgrounds Exposition Hall. Drop off your donations at the Fairgrounds, especially those large/bulky items, Monday, July 28 through Monday, August 4 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
PLEASE NOTE - In order to give our volunteers time to sort and price all of the treasures, our donation cut-off is 6:00 PM on Monday, August 4.
We are looking for previously loved yet delicately used furniture, home decor, kitchen gadgets, small appliances, clothing, toys, tools, garden equipment, holiday decorations, collectibles, books, and more. All items must be in good, clean and working condition. All clothing must be in clean and wearable condition. We can only accept working flat screen TVs with remotes and only flat screen computer monitors along with their cords.
Items we cannot accept:
⨂ cribs and car seats
⨂ mattresses and box springs
⨂ any paints, chemicals, or other hazardous materials
⨂ fluorescent light bulbs
⨂ any appliance with freon (i.e. refrigerators and air conditioners)
⨂ stoves, washers, dryers
⨂ large and cumbersome exercise equipment
⨂ tube TVs
⨂ used pet furniture or used pet toys
⨂ broken items
