Many businesses engage employees directly in their philanthropic process. Through a variety of means, including contests, employers ask their employees to select the charity (or charities) nearest and dearest to their hearts for the business’s annual gift (or gifts). Please remember HART in your nomination process.

Foster employee camaraderie with a donation drive in the office. By collecting items from our Wish List, employees can help ensure our animals have food, comfort, and enrichment while they are here. Run a contest among departments to see who can collect the most items or hold a special event to collect supplies. Businesses and their employees will make an immediate impact on pets in our care by providing the supplies we need most.

What does your company or employer do with merchandise that doesn’t sell or products that can’t be sold? It’s possible we could use it at HART! You don’t have to work at a pet food plant to make a difference – from blankets to paper towels, from trash bags to office supplies, we utilize a wide variety of products to keep the shelter and our programs running.
