Here we are, three months into the new year, and we already have great news and HARTwarming stories to share.

This year we kicked off 2024 with a bang, celebrating 47 cat adoptions in January - a new record! We’re also excited to introduce Wahn, our comeback kitty looking for a loving home, and announce the roll out of our snazzy new winter hats and expanded sponsorship program.

As the year draws to a close, we would like to share updates on some wonderful cats that may be familiar to you. Each of their stories is a testament to the profound difference your kindness has made. These inspiring tales are a celebration of the impact we can make together in changing their lives.

As the year quickly draws to a close, we want to thank everyone who has donated to our Year End Fundraiser thus far. With the holidays just around the corner, there is still time to contribute to HART’s efforts and make it a happy holiday for the cats of HART!

Can you believe that since the beginning of the year, HART has taken in 282 cats and kittens, and we’ve found homes for 371 of the felines within our care? As we head into the last quarter of 2023, we are asking our community to help us keep this good work going.

Introducing Toby, the delightful "Greeter" of Room 3. Toby is a charming 4 ½ year-old black and white cat with stunning features. The broad white stripe on his face perfectly complements his white muzzle and adorable pink nose.

We are delighted to share the remarkable success of HART Adoption Center and Shelter for Cats' Annual Yard Sale, which took place from August 10th to 13th, at the Cumberland Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall in Cumberland, Maine.
