Mommy & Kittens Sponsorship
Kitten Season may peak in the spring here in Maine, but moms and babies (and sometimes orphaned kittens) arrive at HART all year long. We care for more than 200 kittens every year! These tiny arrivals may be small, but their care comes with big expenses. Formula, bottles, medications, vaccinations, kitten food, microchips, and spay/neuter surgeries all add up quickly - the cost for a mom and four babies averages around $3,000 to care for!
Mommy & Kittens Sponsorships help us provide refuge, comfort, and critical medical care to cats who have been surrendered, abandoned, injured, or abused—and to place each one in a loving home.
